Fun Run | Mill City
Join us outside the new gym at the Santiam High School to kick off our second annual Ugly Sweater Run to support the SCSD PTO!
When registering kids under 18 the price is free or donation. If you choose to provide a donation (Thank you!) please also select a free ticket so we can get a headcount for the race. Tickets can be purchased up until the start of the race. Advanced online registration helps us have an accurate headcount for providing hot chocolate and cookies at the end of the race.
At 10:00 am a short kiddie dash will be open to anyone who wants to participate. After the kiddie dash, we'll kick off the run/walk on the route pictured on the map below. The race is a loop so the finish line will also be at the school. After the event we encourage you to explore the Christmas Bazaar we will be hosting on sight.
This race is just for fun so if you have little ones who cannot complete it on foot, they are free to ride a bike or catch a ride in a wagon.
Wear your favorite ugly holiday sweater (or festive costume of your choosing) in the race (if you don't have one that's ok too!).
All proceeds benefit the Santiam Canyon School District PTO and fund school activities and field trips.
The race route is roughly 3.25 miles in total. All ages are welcome, but please remember the weather will likely not be the best so dress yourself and any little ones for warmth and comfort. Friendly leashed dogs are welcome. Streets will not be closed during this event so please watch and wait for cars at street crossings and abide by any laws governing pedestrian traffic.
Participation in the race is at your own risk and the Santiam School District PTO and its members are not responsible for any harm or injuries incurred during participation in this event.
