What is Paid Leave Oregon?
In 2019, HB 2005 passed, which created the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (PFMLI) program to provide compensation for time away from work for those meeting certain criteria for leave.
Beginning on January 1, 2023 employees and employers will begin payroll contributions into this new program. Employees can begin applying for benefits beginning September 3, 2023.
In this webinar, the Oregon Employment Department will provide an overview of the program and give chambers and businesses an opportunity to ask questions.
This webinar is open to chambers and their members.
