Marion County Ambulance Service Area Advisory Commiee Seeks New Members
SALEM, OR — Marion County Health and Human Services is actively seeking individuals to fill two vacancies on the Ambulance Service Area Advisory Committee. The committee plays a crucial role in shaping ambulance services policy and planning within Marion County.
Committee members are responsible for reviewing complaints about ambulance service delivery, monitoring service quality, developing performance standards, evaluating proposed amendments to ambulance service areas and plans, and making recommendations for interagency cooperation related to the county disaster plan. Members are appointed to three‐ year terms with the possibility of reappointment.
Marion County Health and Human Services encourages community members with unique knowledge, expertise, or personal experience in ambulance services to apply and contribute to the vital work of the Ambulance Service Area Advisory Committee. The committee meets quarterly in Salem, and members may serve on additional subcommittees as needed. Applicants must be 18 years of age and reside or work in Marion County.
