Covered Bridge Cafe has an immediate opening on our kitchen team. We are an established, high volume, and fast paced restaurant in Stayton serving breakfast, lunch. This opening is consistently between 30-35 hours per week.

Starting Compensation: $17.00-21.00/hr depending on demonstrated experience PLUS daily tip out and yearly bonus.

We are a small family restaurant, fun, flexible and we work hard.

Must have at least 1 year line cook experience.* (see note below)

Must have a valid Oregon Food Handlers Card.

Must be able to memorize a large and diverse menu.

Must maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen, while exhibiting proper sanitation and food preparation guidelines.

Must be able to communicate with staff and customers verbally and in writing.

Must work well with others. Ability to work under pressure; remaining calm and respectful. Must possess a positive "can-do" attitude, attention to detail, and the desire to strive for consistent quality.

Must demonstrate integrity, manage time wisely, and instinctively help in other areas as needed.

Our entire menu is offered all hours of the day. Our menu includes burgers, chicken, omelettes, eggs to order, hash browns, pancakes, both hot and cold sandwiches, and a variety of salads. These menu items are prepared using a flat top griddle, char broiler, deep fryer, and stove top burners.

*Interested applicants without minimum experience are encouraged to apply if they believe they are the perfect person for this position; eager to learn and the drive to work hard. Under-qualified applicants will be paid a lower rate until skills are acquired.
